Ok.. so during our initial consultation Lyndsey mentioned that her little boy Mason is a VERY happy little guy. Well… that is the understatement of the universe! This little man did not stop smiling from the second he got out of the car to the very last click of my camera. Unbelievable!! Often times during shoots parents and I spend a lot of time trying to make the little ones smile and laugh… this time around no effort was needed! I would love to be able to take the credit and say it was my face that caused Mason so much joy… but I’m pretty darn sure it is anything and everything that makes this little dude smile :) SUCH a pleasure!!!!!

Another little share of my own kiddo. These pictures bring me sooo much joy as you can well imagine. Seeing my girl so happy and giggly.. doesn’t get better than that. She’s a goof.

Check out these babies… MY Goodness! Absolutely beautiful and precious. This little girl was my instant BFF and helped me capture some beautiful smiles from her new baby brother. We began our shoot indoors to capture some cozy and precious images. I would have covered these 2 in kisses if that wouldn’t have been weird.. 
And outdoors we went. As you can see… these were taken during colourful fall. We had a great time jumping around in the leaves. I was telling Jennifer.. the lucky mom of these two.. how difficult age 2 is to often work with. Those little tots just have their own mind on things and are a little more difficult to persuade. This little girl…. PIECE OF CAKE! Props to you Jen ..she takes the crown.

The Apel’s are SUCH a wonderful family to work with! Below is our shoot from last year and I was so excited when Brenda contacted me for another photo session…
Below is our latest shoot. We met on a very rainy fall day and just jumped our of our cars for a quick Simplicity Session when the rain eased up. You wouldn’t be able to tell from the photographs.. but we were pretty muddy by the end of this! Again, so much fun with this family.. you guys are awesome!

I just love this set! It was a quick Simplicity Session, but these two were on the move and creating adorable moments.. one quickly after another. My camera (and legs) got a work out.. which is the best type of shoot in my opinion! This little couple just wouldn’t quit being cute! By the time our short shoot was done.. all I wanted to do was keep snapping away. I know your two will cherish these images so much as you grow older together!

Christmas is coming down this evening :( And I have to be honest… this is the hardest it’s ever been to take it down. I’m usually so ready to pack away the decorations, but it was such a good Christmas for Brydie and I..it’s hard to let go. BUT we will look forward to Christmas 2012 for the next 12 months! Thought I’d share a few from our cozy holiday.

I’ve had the huge honour of working with this lovely family since Lilly was just 3 weeks old. Below are a few images from past photo shoots.. Lilly at only 3 months and again at around 13 months or so. Pretty sure she’s always adored my camera!
And below is our most recent photo shoot.. this past fall. Look at how beautifully Lilly is growing up… And how proud she is of her new baby brother!! My goodness Tanya… your children must get 1000 kisses a day! Can’t wait to continue capturing them as they grow

Hello ALL!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!!! I am sooo excited for a new year of wonderful clients and beautiful photographs. I’m taking a little time before the New Year to review all my products and offerings and can’t wait to share some exciting news for 2012.
Thank you to all of my Holiday clients.. I had such a wonderful time preparing gifts for you and your loved ones! I hope they brought so much joy to you over the holiday season.
And last but not least.. I am on Holidays until January 9th! Other than my behind the scenes work I’ll be taking it pretty easy. I will respond to any emails after January 9th.
I have my afternoon planned… Uno with my little girl by the fire. I love the holidays!
